CT5-L50-P is a specialized acidic reacted polymer containing corrosion inhibitors, polymeric anti-scalents, dispersants, biocides and surface-active agents. It is specifically designed for water with a Ryznar Index in the scale forming range for inhibiting precipitation of hardness salts whilst simultaneously preventing the build-up of suspended solids and aiding dispersion of organic and metallic contaminants. This product also inhibits the proliferation of microorganisms in process cooling systems, process pipework and vessels.

CT5-L50-P should be controlled at 75-100mg/l in the system water and dosed at product concentration required/effective cycles of concentration (B/C) to the make-up water simultaneously with the bio-dispersant MBD-L60-Z.
Dosage to make up will be at 75 -100 mg/l divided by the cycles of concentration. There is a direct polymer test method available for testing the residual of CT5-L50-P. Higher dosages of CT5-L50-P can be utilized to descale systems on line during critical operational periods. These dosages would be in the range of 500-5000mg/l for short periods dependent upon the severity of the situation.

CT5-L50-P can be stored for up to 24 months from the date of manufacture, in its original, sealed packaging, at room temperature in a dry area. Containers must be kept undercover and out of direct sunlight. This product can be safely stored in plastic type holding tanks designed to manage the specific gravity listed. CT5-L50-P must be protected from freezing. Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles should be worn when handling CT5-L50-P.

Innovation: It’s part of our DNA

Large enough to deliver. Small enough to care.

Innovation is everywhere at Blue Reef. For example, the chemical products which we have produced for the anti-scalent market are unique in every way. Our “HEXAMER” based products are formulated and manufactured employing processes previously never used in the manufacture of water treatment products.
Not only does this make the products far more stable than traditional inhibitors, but one is able to actually test for the active aspect in the product. This takes scale inhibition and scale removal to a new level in that chemical dosing rates can be calculated very accurately resulting in cost savings and increased efficacy.

A further innovation is that all of our products are available in liquid and dehydrated powder form. These dry products are unique. All that one has to do to produce a liquid version of the same product is to “JUST ADD WATER” and mix.

This makes for transportation of product over long distance/over border logistics extremely easy as packing for transportation is far easier and so much safer.
